The Transylvania Community Arts Council will host its 41st annual Fine Arts and Crafts Showcase from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 4. The event coincides with the Heart of Brevard’s Fourth of July Celebration and Transylvania Region AACA Classic Car Show.

The three festivals in one in downtown Brevard will feature music, arts, crafts, food and children’s activities.

The Duck Race for Kreative Kids fundraiser will take place at 5 p.m., and the fireworks extravaganza is set for 9:30 p.m. Both events will be held at Brevard College.

The 41st annual Fine Arts and Crafts Showcase will feature more than 40 North and South Carolina artists and crafters who have been juried into the show based on their original work in jewelry, pottery, fiber, wood, metal, painting, photography and more. Artists will be on West Main Street, from the corner of O.P. Taylor’s Toy Store and White Squirrel Shop down to the Co-ed Movie Theater.

The TC Arts Council will also have a booth selling rubber ducks for the Duck Race for Kreative Kids. Each duck costs $5.
