The last time we saw so many blossoms in fashion, we thought wearing floral smocks was appropriate attire for adult women. This time around, thankfully, florals come in a sexier, more sophisticated fashion.

Today, April 26, marks World Intellectual Property Day. Although this commemoration might go unnoticed by many, it's worthwhile to imagine for a moment what life would be like without innovation or the inventions innovators produce. Thomas Hobbes famously quipped that humanity without social structure would be "solitary,If you look at the replica shoes you realize that they shall be great for your expections. poor, brutish, nasty and short." The same can be said about humanity without innovation.

Intimidation factor: Nominal but escalating. I hit a quiet time when there are more staffers on the floor than shoppers so am rather conspicuous.

Number of salespeople on floor: A handful, including the manager, who is attentive and eager to answer queries without hovering like an anxious mother cheetah. The women's store, however, tends to be DIY.

Price range: From $11.90 for a basic T-shirt to $299.90 for a cobalt blue leather jacket.

Zara men's has everyone covered, from preppy to hipster. They even put looks together for the accessory-challenged. A light blue shirt with grey tweed patches on the elbow ($49) cohabits with a blazer in a light blue and grey check ($199) and navy slacks priced at $69, making for an ensemble totally non-threatening to even the most conservative dresser.

There is a baseball jacket for $69.90, but the fabrication feels cheesy, more farm team than major league.

I think everyone knows how glad I will be to see winter end and spring begin with all its warmth and glory.

I'm so over the winter wardrobe and just want to hang up my winter jacket for a short sleeve shirt and pair of sandals.

But even I know it's still just a little too soon to jump on the spring bandwagon. We are still in for a few more cold snaps. However, that doesn't mean we can't still have just a little preview of things to come this spring.

So let's keep it real and start small. For the first preview of spring, I'm starting with nail polish. It's something that we all can wear and it doesn't discriminate on size or age.

Other than my “rosy tosies,Canada Goose Expedition Parka” I'm not a hard-core nail polish wearer. I will, however, take time out on a Sunday afternoon for this hot spring shade – nudes.

What is so great about the color nude — or lack thereof — is that it allows anyone wearing nail polish the freedom to not be the perfect manicurist and also to give wearing nail polish an honest-to -goodness try.

When talking to other women about nail polish, many, including myself, are kind of intimidated about what a “color” will look like once it's on all 10 fingers.

Its one thing to try it on your thumb at the store, but another to pay $7 and then get home and find that your fingers look like they're bleeding or losing circulation. I have a lot more things I can buy with $7 than one-time-use nail polish taking up residence in my makeup drawer.

So if you want to start out slow, try a nude. There is nothing wrong with color, but sometimes less is more. As always, here are some nude shades to try for each skin type. Happy polishing.

Legler has a tattoo on her neck that says "Leviathan". "I once dreamed about whales for six months straight," she says. She tells me the story of Jonah. How he ran away when God asked him to be a prophet, and ended up in the belly of a whale, and how, when he later sat in the desert, spat out and burning, God told him life is about, "doing your part, however it lands". This – fashion – is where Legler's work has landed, she says. "My job is to be brave. And to show what that looks like," she half-whispers. "And if that moves other people to be exactly who they are – shit, this is going to make me cry – that's what it's for. This," she gestures to her hair, to her body, "is just what it looks like for me." Talking to her feels Berocca-like: it's refreshing to talk to somebody who can discuss gender in terms of their own body and work, and who is excited about what that might achieve.

In 2011, when Love magazine published an androgyny-themed issue, featuring a cover with Kate Moss kissing transgender model Lea T, Vogue described gender as a "trend". Caroline Evans, professor of fashion history and theory at Central Saint Martins, scoffs. "It's not a 'trend' – what nitwits! It's who we are." And Legler agrees. Trends are fleeting. Androgyny without context is just, she says, a trick of the eye. Without context it is voyeuristic. "What I really hope is that there aren't a bunch of girls out there cutting their hair, unless they want to.canada goose chilliwack parka That's not what this is about," she stresses. "It is why it's happening. Fashion will do what it needs to do, but this" – this truth that women don't always look like girls – "exists already on its own." And the best thing about it, she says, excited, is that by playing with gender so publicly, by "just being myself", she can help make room for everybody else: she can help widen our ideas of what is beautiful. A masculine girl makes way for a feminine boy, and an older woman, and a size 18. Of course, she is acceptably different – she is slim, tall, white and classically attractive, but still, she is both boyish and feminine. She is different. She is helping chip away at walls. She's knocking through to the kitchen.

We finish our lunch, and she unfolds herself from the bench. She shrugs on her jacket, and the people behind the bar give her sly, appreciative looks. She pulls back the table, she pushes in my chair, she makes space.

With his lanky 6 foot 5 frame and sleeves of 1920s era tattoos, Ben Gorham doesn't look like your average perfumer. In fact, when the former professional basketball player first presented his fragrances in Paris seven years ago, a French journalist sniffed, “What gives you the right to do perfumes?” Gorham, whose Byredo line now has a devoted following that generates $30 million in global sales, smiles as he recalls that early snub: “I was a wild card. But I'm very competitive. I can do one thing really obsessively.”

For most of his life, Gorham, 35, had been haunted by the memory of his father, who abandoned the family when he was a boy. So after he gave up his sports career at the age of 25 (the Stockholm born athlete couldn't secure a European passport to officially play in their league), Gorham approached the renowned Swedish perfumer Pierre Wulff about recreating his father's scent.A great blend of our authentic Canada Goose Whistler Parka Parka functionality and cutting edge style. Wulff listened to Gorham describe the fragrance and figured out that it was probably Geoffrey Beene's Grey Flannel. “He told me that the world didn't need another perfumer,” Gorham says. But something had clicked: he realized he wanted to create scents that would evoke a better, bygone era, but still be relevant to the present. He registered the name Byredo, short for “By Redolent. As a Canada Goose Camp Down filling, the good quality of down leather-based performs a vital position in the brand's popularity.”

Eventually, Gorham's first cologne evolved into Green, a heady mix of sage, jasmine,This Canada Goose Chateau Parka Orange has generous appearance that make you look fashion and attractive in the crowd. violet and musk. (One of the scents he associated with his dad was green beans.) Next, he created Encens Chembur, a fragrance inspired by his mother and named after the suburb outside Mumbai where she was born. The result is a smoky combination of temple incense, amber, ginger and bergamot. “I'm not a nose,” says Gorham, sitting in his rather grand office in Stockholm, once the boardroom of the Swedish National Post Office. “I'm not a perfumer. I'm more about the dreams and less about the science of it.” Four years ago, after the birth of his daughter, Gorham concocted Blanche, a clean flowery fragrance of white rose, musk, pink pepper and peony.

Gorham has a knack for somehow aligning himself with the biggest names in the beauty and fashion industries. With the help of a friend who worked for Acne,The Canada Goose Calgary Jacket maintains a high fashion profile. he designed a simple black and white logo with typography that recalls classic brands like Chanel No. 5 and Acqua di Parma. For inspiration, they supplied him with a photograph of a Japanese calligraphy master, a drawing by Augustyniak and a block of solid Asian ink. A few months later, Gorham returned with a fragrance that they called M/MINK, with exaggerated notes of adoxal (a synthetic ingredient reminiscent of fresh linen) as well as patchouli leaf, clover honey and amber. “It was everything we had been discussing. We both wear it every day,” Amzalag says. The duo then introduced Gorham to the photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who have since worked with the perfumer on his campaigns. Last year, Gorham collaborated with them on a perfume inspired by one of their images, which they sent to friends as a Christmas gift. “When I was an athlete, so many things were not in my control,” Gorham says. He adds that what he finds so gratifying about being an entrepreneur and having a brand is that he gets to “imagine things working in a certain way and then they just do.”

He makes it sound easy, but behind the modest, soft spoken personality is an exacting aesthete. Gorham, along with his girlfriend and daughter, recently moved into an apartment on a historic square in the Sodermalm neighborhood of Stockholm. He wanted to start completely fresh, so they abandoned their old furniture to focus on an eclectic mix of vintage Scandinavian design, like several 1930s Alvar Aalto chairs for Artek and a coffee table by Poul Kjaerholm for E. Kold Christensen, as well as contemporary art: a photograph in the hallway is the last living portrait of the rapper Notorious B.I.G. by Martina Hoogland Ivanow. In his child's room is a handmade whimsical wooden play set, complete with a life size slide and swing. For several years now, Gorham has been collecting 1950s Orrefors chandeliers — one of his five hangs in the entry and another is in the living room. The kitchen features Oregon pine cabinets with stainless steel counters and a floor of green Swedish marble called Brannlyckan, popular in the 1920s. “There's a lot of nerdy, obsessive details,” he says. “In order to fit the bathtub, we tore down the walls and built new walls four inches out.”

Gorham's new work space, in Stockholm's high end shopping district, has a more formal design. There is wall to wall custom carpeting with square enclosed “B”s. His own office is a combination of sensual and ornate surfaces: beautifully painted wood paneled walls, parquet floors peeking out from a furry white rug, a fireplace made of emerald green ceramic tiles. In collaboration with the Swedish furniture designer Christian Hallerod, he designed several block shaped thrones from industrial pine. Today, he presides over the place in an Alexander Wang knit jacket, Acne T shirt and Ralph Lauren vintage jeans. But on most occasions, he's dressed in one of his countless bespoke suits. “There's only one tailor left in Scandinavia who was schooled on Savile Row,” Gorham says of Frederik Anderson, owner of A. W. Bauer. No doubt,Unique Canada Goose Yukon Bomber with easy payment is so famous in the world market. he tracked him down.

Recently Gorham enlisted the team at M/M (Paris) to create monograms for his first women's bag. “We're calling it the 25 to life,” Gorham says, as he pulls a prototype out of a box that had just arrived from Italy. The idea being that “the woman who buys this should be able to use it for her lifetime.” Adhering to his ethos of only using the best materials, the bag is made from the most luxurious leather: caviar embossed on the outside and reindeer suede on the inside. It, along with a collection of travel related leather goods, will be introduced this summer at Barneys New York and at his new store in SoHo, his first in the United States. He's also been experimenting with old fashioned techniques of scenting leathers, with the idea that a carryall could be infused with a specific Byredo fragrance. “Before Ben puts something out in the world he takes the time to dream about it and refine it,” Augustyniak says. “This is the secret of luxury goods in the contemporary world. Good products should have a soul.”

Brittney Griner scored 25 points, including the 3,000th of her career, to help No. 1 Baylor rally past third-ranked Connecticut 76-70 on Monday night, extending the Lady Bears' winning streak to 23 games.

Griner became the eighth player in Division I history to reach the milestone, doing it on two free throws with 1:05 left. She finished with 21 points in the second half.

The defending national champion Lady Bears' only loss this season came in Hawaii against Stanford back in November. Baylor (25-1) went 40-0 last season en route to the school's second national championship.

Baylor led 54-53 midway through the second half before Griner took over. She scored seven points during the burst, and her putback made it 67-61 with 5 minutes left.

UConn rallied behind Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis to make it a 67-65, but Griner answered with a putback. Then she hit the two free throws 1:30 later to make it 73-67 and seal the win.

Griner had missed key free throws down the stretch when she was a sophomore and her team lost at Connecticut by one point. She wasn't going to let that happen again, beating the only team in the country that she didn't have a winning record against.

The game, hyped up all season, lived up to its billing — even though neither coach wanted to put too much emphasis on this one,Working out of power manage to buy moncler jackets property. As a duvetica down jackets filling, the good quality of down leather-based performs a vital position in the brand's popularity. knowing there will be a lot more at stake if the schools meet again in the NCAA tournament.

UConn led by three at halftime and expanded the advantage to 41-34 after Griner was called for a flagrant foul for grabbing Stefanie Dolson in the backcourt after the 6-foot-8 center had turned the ball over.

That just seemed to fuel Griner and the Lady Bears,Good Quality Of purple supra shoes. who scored the next eight points to take a 42-41 lead with 14:03 left.

The teams went shot for shot over the next 5 minutes, with neither able to gain more than a four-point lead.

Griner answered a 3-pointer by Dolson with a three-point play of her own that started the key run. She then hit a hook shot to give Baylor a 59-56 lead with 8 minutes left.

Griner, who came into the game averaging 19 points, 7.7 blocks and 7.3 rebounds against UConn, passed LaToya Thomas of Mississippi State to move into eighth on the women's career scoring list. The last player to reach 3,000 points was Connecticut forward Maya Moore, who was in attendance Monday night.

Mosqueda-Lewis finished with 26 points to lead UConn (24-2).

UConn jumped out to a quick 12-2 lead much to the delight of the sellout crowd of 16,294 that was whipped into a frenzy on every Huskies basket. The Lady Bears rallied behind Griner, who was more of a passer than a scorer over the first 20 minutes. She'd catch the ball and quickly draw three UConn defenders before dishing it down low for an easy layup for a teammate.

The Huskies opened a 27-18 advantage with 3:30 left in the first half before Baylor scored the next eight points. Mosqueda-Lewis was fouled just before the half to make it 29-26 at the break.

Griner had four points in the first half and Sims had two as she missed nine of her 10 shots, including her first seven.

The game capped a weeklong celebration of games in honor of former N.C. State coach Kay Yow, who died in 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Baylor wore pink sneakers while UConn had the same color adorning its uniforms.Clearance of canada goose chilliwack parka is very popular in the our online store. "It's good for women's basketball. It's good for television," Mulkey said. "I'm ready for next Saturday. I'm ready to celebrate a Big 12 championship. If we go to UConn and we win, it's great. The medical report said that he died from multiple head injuries.

Meanwhile, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization (KWWO) has strongly condemned the incident.

In a statement, KWWO said that denizens of Kangpokpi and its surrounding want to live in peace and harmony.

In the same vein, Sadar Hills Women Union has denounced the incident of causing multiple head injuries to the non-Manipur man as an inhuman act and appealed to the State Government for a proper mechanism for restoring confidence among the people in the rule of law.

The two women bodies have also conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family members.

Thar's a new sheriff in town and he's a Dick! Dick Armey that is, the former Republican House Majority Leader and major mouthpiece (and manipulator) of the (alleged to be) grassroots Tea Party.

Recently it was reported Armey quit his job as the kingpin of his Tea Party group,Offer hermes handbags, hermes kelly and many other styles. FreedomWorks. He got an eight million dollar golden shower … err … parachute as his exit kiss. The money came from FreedomWorks donor and founder of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Richard J. Stephenson. Don't really know about Armey and golden showers, but what the hell, let's start a rumor.Shop the latest christian louboutin boots handpicked by a global community of independent trendsetters and stylists.

As reported in the Washington Post,2012 has been an amazing year for SAXO BANK Cycling have been some of the best ever! Armey marched into the offices of FreedomWorks with an armed assistant, Beau Singleton, a retired Capital Police officer, and forced two employees of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe and Adam Brandon out of the building, apparently under threat of getting shot. Why else would you bring an armed man to a pissing contest? That's the threat. It says, “This man has a gun and he will use it if I tell him to.”

Please don't try to argue it means anything but that.

It's like drug dealers. They go someplace to close a deal. Most of the participants are armed, but the dealers bring along these scary looking guys who have Mac-10's or Glock 9's under their jackets ready for use. It's really quite impressive when some short, fat … guy … let's say, walks into the men's room of the Landmark Lanes — as a totally random example — to meet another guy of equally questionable fashion sense and moral character and each one of these guys has two “body guarFind RadioShack Cycling and running devices, heart rate monitors .ds” in tow.Welcome to SKY Cycling, we supply most popular and valuable wholesale products. The bodyguards stand there looking menacing as the two principles conclude their business.

It's impressive if you put aside your fear of what could happen if someone sneezes wrong or the guy taking a dump in the stall — who no one knew was there — flushes the toilet unexpectedly. Seriously, when that toilet flushes the safeties get switched to the “off” position and the fingers are resting on the trigger guards. Instantly. It's impressive.

Much as it must have been impressive last September when Dick Armey marched into FreedomWorks with his armed guard and told the people who pissed him off to, “Get the [expletive deleted] out!”

The Baltimore Post-Examiner's rules of decorum prevent me from using the verbiage that is more appropriate, but this is an upstanding news outlet and they have standards. I'm OK wit dat.

So what would you do if you were working away taking the hard-earned money of Teabaggers everywhere and the sorta boss walks in with an armed man who looks like he might have been a member of the Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) at one time and tells you, “You're fired! Get out!”

You'd look at the armed guy and then gather up your things and leave. Or, you'd start crying uncontrollably, which is what four of the people working for FreedomWorks did. Apparently the crying won over Armey who said they could stay.

The two guys who were marched out at threat of gunpoint came back, Armey was forced to resign and the rest is, as the old saying goes, history.

Just a show of hands: how many people would take a golden shower for eight million bucks? I'm raising my hand. I've endured plenty of indignity in my lifetime and if I could get paid $8,000,000 for just one moment of it, what the heck. Then I'm done being humiliated cause after that, why care?

Anyway, that seems to be the story all over the GOP-slash-Conservative universe these days. One faction is fighting that faction; this group of Republican Congressman is stabbing those other Republican Congressmen in the back — hell, the conservative talkers on “The Five” are even arguing amongst themselves over what this fiscal cliff business means. This one thinks that one is wrong, the young guy trying to look too cool for school is acting bored … there's no joy in FoxWorld tonight.

"Look mummy! It's Christmas!" the small girl said as Sarah Dawn Finer walked into the post office.Shop the latest louis vuitton borse on the world's largest fashion ...

Such is the role of the "Christmas Host" on television each year that the child simply equated the well-known singer with the holiday itself.

It was a somewhat nervous but happy-looking Finer who popped up on television sets across Sweden this year at five minutes to 2pm. That's when hosts after a short preamble light a candle to kick off the Christmas special broadcast on Sveriges Television (SVT).

The broadcast runs throughout the afternoon of Christmas Eve, with the host presenting a series of traditional programmes to viewers around Sweden.

"My nephew was upset that I wasn't going to be home for Christmas Eve,” the half-English half-American singer told Svenska Dagbladet newspaper in the run-up to Christmas.

"But I'm able to be with and touch people all over Sweden in a way I didn't think was possible."

She began by telling the viewers the story of her post-office encounter, then it was time for the candle. She had failed to light it during rehearsals and as the producer told her there was three minutes left until going live she felt utter panic.

It might sound ever so simple, but few have ever lit a candle with almost 4 million people watching. And she did it. No dropped matches, scorched finger tips or fiddling with a limp wick.

Finer is no stranger to Swedish television viewers. She was only seven when she got a role in the series Maskrosbarnen (The Dandelion Children) and some years later took part in the iconic stories of Bert.

But singing was always part of her life, and she toured with her sister throughout her adolescence.

She says that for her, Christmas is less about religion and more about family - and of course, listening to music. Her Christmases mix Swedish traditions with those from her father's England and from her mother's native US.

She credits them for her tenacity.

“Both my parents have shown me that anything is possible by moving here and building a life,” Finer told SvD.

"I'll always feel a certain degree of alienation here because I'm different, not the norm.”

Yet, if Finer was Swedish Christmas this year, she has for the past few years been strongly associated with the most Swedish of all musical bonanzas – the Eurovision qualifiers Melodifestivalen, which stretches the breadth and width of the country and feeds its fodder to the tabloids on every step of the way.

At first she was a contestant, performing in 2007 with I remember Love, which came in fourth. With her second try in 2009,Looking for Christian Louboutin Women Shoes? with the song Moving On, she again made it into the finals but finished only seventh.

Two men used a crowbar to break open a podium holding around $2,000 in cash and change at the north Carson City Walmart on Saturday afternoon.

The two men allegedly pried open drawers on the podium, located in front of the cash registers abutting the women's clothing section. The first man approached the podium from the women's section around 2:04 p.m. and used a small, forearm-length crowbar to open the drawers and take the money, before leaving the store, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

The two then allegedly circled the same podium at the Reno Damonte Ranch Walmart around 3 p.m. Saturday but were chased out of the store by employees. Their car was described as a late 1990s white Ford Taurus.

The young man, dressed in a dark hoodie or jacket, wore dark cuffed jeans, red and black shoes with white soles and a red beanie under a dark baseball cap with a San Francisco logo.

The second man, much older, wore a dark green or brown jacket with fur around the hood,All prada bags with high quality and best service, save 50% off, Free and fast delivery. lighter colored jeans, dark shoes and a gray or dark blue hoodie with large yellow writing and a Rockstar energy drink baseball hat.

Instead, Gayle and her cousin waited in line at the Sam's Town buffet.

When City Councilman Bobby Curran tells us that his black-and-yellow varsity letterman jacket is the only one in the world to have the Baltimore City Seal emblazoned on its backside, we are inclined to believe him.

For Bob is not only a repository of facts and folklore about local civics (“I'm a political junkie”), but also a living,100% quality satisfactions of Mens duvetica down jackets with Free shipping and lowest price will save you much! breathing symbol of its culture.

He's a Curran, in other words, a family synonymous with Baltimore politics.

There's been a Curran holding a seat in the same northeast district of the City Council (with a brief interregnum) since 1953.

Between his dad, J. Joseph Curran Sr., his brother Martin E. “Mike” Curran and Bob, the family's tenure on the City Council will stretch across six decades in the new year. And Bobby's current term – his fifth – won't be over until December 2016.

Bossing Around

Back in 1953, when Bobby was 3 years old and his dad was appointed to the Council following the death of Sam DeWees (there's a rec center named after him), Baltimore was ruled by political clubs and family dynasties.

George W. Della Sr. presided over South Baltimore by virtue of the Stonewall Democratic Club. Tommy D'Alesandro Sr. held sway over Little Italy and Highlandtown. Jack Pollock was the boss of Park Heights through his Trenton Democratic Club.

On the Westside,Where To Buy Canada Goose Online, our burberry bags Offer Canada Goose Coacts with Lowest Price. Irv Kovens pulled strings from the back room of his furniture store, while Victorine Q. Adams was making headway in the world of white-only “b'hoys” clubs with her own Colored Women's Democratic Campaign Council.

All of these organizations are now defunct, the families and bosses associated with them ancient history. All but the Currans.

The Currans have blossomed since their low point of 1959 when Joe Sr. was thrown under the bus (or in those day, trolley) as the D'Alesandro machine was ambushed by Kovens and his confederates (Irving “Tubby” Schwartz and Philip Goodman), only to return triumphant to the Council in 1963.

These internecine struggles among city Democrats were dubbed “donnybrooks” and covered with great gusto by the old Evening Sun and News-American.

Never Again

A Curran has never lost a local city election since then.

In 1977,Buy Fashion monster beats cheap with big discount! Bobby's brother, Martin E. “Mike” Curran, succeeded Joe Sr., who had become a City Hall martyr when he suffered a heart attack watching fellow Councilman Dominic M. Leone gunned down by a distraught restaurant owner carrying a .39-caliber revolver in a paper bag.

The Leone assassination took place on April 13, 1976; Curran died of heart-related complications 10 months later.

Mike reigned for 22 years, then handed over the keys to Bobby.

History's other great political dynasties were known to confer these handed-down powers through bejeweled swords or golden scepters, but this was Baltimore.

Bobby got the letterman jacket with the city's seal from Mike after his easy victory in the 1995 Democratic primary.

Yesterday, the 27-year-old, who previously lived in Port Lincoln in South Australia,Find Garmin Cycling and running devices, heart rate monitors . found herself in the dock of a Sydney court, accused of being a drug mule. She is charged with conspiring to import a commercial quantity of pseudoephedrine from Thailand.

Ms Hill, who spends six months of the year working in Cannes, was arrested at her grandmother’s house in Adelaide on Monday night.

She is now the centre of a case in which eight people, including Customs officers and quarantine inspectors, were arrested over the alleged importation of narcotics into Australia.

Ms Hill’s Facebook page said she graduated from Port Lincoln High School.

The court heard Hill was working as a waitress in a Five Dock hotel when she and another woman were recruited by two men - Joseph Harb and a Customs officer who cannot be named for legal reasons - and offered $10,000 to go to Thailand and bring the drug back in their luggage.

The Customs officer allegedly told the two women "everything would be ok" and assured them their suitcases would not be searched, as he would be working on the planned day of their return. After compare the monster beats cheap Plus Size on all the online stores .

He also advised them not to get "too dressed up" as they would draw too much attention to themselves, facts tendered to the court alleged.

The court was told Harb left for Thailand on June 10, 2009 and bought 10kg of pseudoephedrine from a chemist in Phuket.

Hill and her accomplice allegedly arrived three days later and - after a six-day stay - arrived home with the drugs hidden in their suitcases.

Another Customs officer, Paul Katralias, who was charged last August with drug offences, was allegedly also recruited and paid $5000 cash and human growth hormone worth about $1800 to turn a blind eye and not search the women at the airport.

But Katralias was allegedly diverted to other duties on the day the women returned and did not facilitate their passage through the customs area.

The court heard the Customs officer, who was later to become Hill's boyfriend, was arrested on Monday and charged over his role in the drug importation.Spicy Lingerie offers a great variety of shop moncler jackets in all sizes and styles. Hill, who spends six months of the year working in Cannes, was arrested at her grandmother's Adelaide home on Monday night.

She was extradited to Sydney to face the charges yesterday. Defence barrister Wayne Baffsky told the court there was no proof the pseudoephedrine was intended to be used in the manufacture of drugs.

"It's a weak case at one end, and hopeless at the other," Mr Baffsky said.

He said the drugs had not been seized by police and had allegedly been onsold by Harb, due to be sentenced on January 16 for his role in the alleged importation.

Wearing a leather jacket and looking pale faced, Hill sobbed in the dock as magistrate Beverley Schurr agreed the prosecution did not have a strong case, and granted her conditional bail.

Byrnes, an acquaintance of Hill,2012 Specialized Cycling Components. sat in the back of the court during the bail application. He attempted to pay Hill's bail with $20,000 cash but was told by court staff he needed a cheque.Great discounts on our huge range of Castelli Cycling clothing - shorts, jerseys, jackets & more.

"I think everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty," Byrnes said after being asked why he had posted Hill's bail.

"She is one of those very holistic, natural, very honest people. A kind and gentle person. To suggest she has anything to do with this is completely out of character for the person I have come to know."

In the end, Byrnes could not post bail for Hill after the prosecution objected to his involvement, saying his criminal history did not make him an acceptable person.

Hill's friend Shani Moffatt, who heads a PR firm, was able to post the surety and bail was granted.

Hill emerged from the holding cells and said she was grateful to the good friends who were supporting her.

"I'll definitely be fighting the charges," she said. Hill will reappear in court on February 27.
